I’m selling my sweet loving umbrella cockatoo. She is the sweetest bird I’ve had. Only reason I’m selling is because I just had a baby and the bird dust is giving the baby allergies. And also, the cockatoo is scared of the baby and will not get near her. She stays as far away as possible from us and so we can’t even do playtime with her. She has started to pluck her chest and leg hairs and it breaks my heart. I’ve taken her to the vet and they say she is stressed out. They’ve tried putting a cone on her but she can still reach her legs. I just want her to go to a good home that has the time and patience for her. She is a little shy and gets scared by loud noises but is very friendly. When we have company she is shy at first but will warm up real quick. She’ll walk up to people and crawl on their chest and talk to to them. She says, hello, hi, I love you, hi booboo, no, my sons name Micheal, wtf. But that’s the only bad word she says. Hehe. She’s a great bird and we’ve had her since she was 4 months. She is now 5 years old. She is a big time cuddled. She loves being cuddled under the covers and will sleep under there. She loves people watching. We have a large window in the living room and she’ll sit there for hours just watching out the window. She also really likes sitting on the front porch. She does have flight power so if she gets scared she will fly away but usually never far. She does fly around the house. she’s a great bird and any family would be lucky to have her. We purchased her for $1100 and the cage was also purchased brand new for $459. All we’re asking is $800 OBO
