If you’ve ever seen a single donkey in a paddock looking sad, it’s because it’s lonely. Geldings are ideally sold x3. They form strong life-long bonds. I think the closest animal to a miniature donkey is a chocolate labrador. On dogs, most breeders say that you shouldn’t let your dogs near your donkeys. Mine seem to be an exception. They would often be seen rubbing noses with my lab, and, as per the photo, they love the border collie x (he has his lunchtime nap laying next to my jack). On my Jack, Icarus, the beautiful natured boy is from xxxx (for those of you who know donkey lines).
