Life with a Rotti is wonderful :) Sufi was a giant sweetheart, she was enormous even for being a Rottweiler but she was sweet. Not a mean bone in her body, and very loving towards children. She did slobber but mostly on hot days and after drinking water. She did shed, but not as bad as my Collie. With the right owner, a Rottweiler can be the perfect dog.
