Meet Pat, a 11-months-old suspected male African Grey. Pat likes to chirp early in the morning but will quickly quiet down, and other than a few whistles and chirps throughout the day, he’s not very vocal. He makes more noise playing with the various bells hung in his house and shredding the papers entwined throughout the cage’s bars. Pat has begun to recently venture out and away from his enclosure, walking on the floor and hanging on the lower rung of a chair. He’ll “step-up” to get back home from the floor but no other time so far. Being he is a floor walker, he will need quite a bit of supervision ;) So far Pat hasn’t shown much interest in the other birds at home and doesn’t care for the dog yet. As he’s just settling into his new foster home, he’s not very warm and cozy but does show a preference toward the Woman in the house over Man. Pat is currently on a diet of ZuPreem pellets mixed with fresh veggies and fruits and he likes to use the spare water bowl for his baths. Please contact me via email
