The Aloha Difference At Aloha Akitas, we are committed to providing top-quality purebred American Akita puppies. Our dedication to the breed and our puppies is unmatched, and we strive to ensure your experience with us is positive and enjoyable. Choose Aloha Akitas for the best and only Grand Champion bloodline purebred AKC American Akita's in Hawaii. What is the Aloha Difference? If you don’t reside on any of the Pacific islands, you may believe that Aloha simply means “Hello!” or “Goodbye”. Those of us that are blessed enough to have experienced island living know that it means so much more. Aloha is a way of life. A culture that comes together to celebrate the beauty in all things and sharing it with all who wish to embrace it. The more Aloha you give, the more it fills you. Aloha is the spirit and essence of love in and for all things, most importantly our Ohana. Our Akita cubs are and always will be a wonderful part of our Ohana. If for any reason you can no longer care for your cub, we will gladly bring them back into our home. At Aloha Akitas each cub instantly becomes a part of our large and growing local family. Human and otherwise! We all come from, different places and backgrounds, this including all our Unkles and Anties (also human and otherwise!) We know that they will go on to become an important part of your Ohana, so they are raised with Aloha to give Aloha. Each day is filled with exciting and extensive litter socialization training and one on one daily individual “play time”. If you haven't read about the importance of socialization of a young puppy, you soon will. This is most especially the case with Akitas. Socialization doesn’t just mean being around other people, something as a new puppy owner of ANY breed should understand. Its people, places, things, sights, sounds, SMELLS, and so much more. Below is a list of things that your new baby cub has mastered, is in training for, or introduced to by 8 weeks while living in our home amongst us and never in a kennel: POTTY TRAINING CLICKER TRAINING Come, Hele mai Sit, Noho No, A’ole, NaNa Go, Hele Eat, A’i Stop-Sit-Wait CRATE TRAINING Coller, Harness, Leash, and Lead training Walks The park Other dogs (big and small) Cats Chickens Playing with Keike (children ages 1-100) All common household sounds Sleeping at least 6 hours at night Various types of music at various sound levels Riding in a vehicle No Chew on hands, feet, cords, and furniture Thunderstorms and Fireworks Puppy pool Beach and tide pool minimum, waves as tolerated Temperature adaptability STAIRS Mirrors TV, Phones, Laptops, Tablets, Gaming Systems, most electronic devices Neonatal Neurological and physical stimulation Early scent detection exercises daily from 3 days until they open their eyes Food Aggression deterrence Homemade food that introduces them to a wide variety of island favorites Did we mention Potty Training? and many more...
