Here at Champion Companions, we have had another beautiful litter of puppies. A healthy litter of 3 boys and 6 girls coming from dam Luna and sire Moko. Dam Luna comes from sire Sir Prince Purple Rain out of Mississippi and dam Akira out of Denver. Sire Moko comes from dam Tora Gin Mi out of Ukrain, who is from sire Hunter XVI and dam Miku II. We have been breeding Akitas for over 10 years in the Pikes Peak region. All of our puppies start their lives in our home being loved initially bye our large family. We guarantee your puppy will be well socialized from birth, as our kids range from 2 to 14 years old. They are welcomed into this world in our custom made birthing boxes and remain under a close watch by mother for the next two weeks, while we nurture mom and assist where needed so she can nurture her new pups. Week 3 we start with handling to establish trust and confidence. We practice an old Japanese method which consists of holding them on their backs in a craddling position and making eye contact to gaint trust. This is something that has been practiced since WWlI. Week 4 and 5 we begin to wean them off of mom and start introducing puppy food. From weeks 6 until they join their new homes we work on potty training, using the doggy door, social skills and learning each puppies personality so we are able to match them to the right homes. We here at Champion Companions believe in making the puppies part of the family so they will transition easily to their forever family. All puppies go home with a welcome packet, first round of shots, dewormed, initial vet visit with health certificate and AKC paperwork. We are currently offering puppy visits both in person or virtually, as well as accepting deposits! Please message with any additional questions. Here we have the whiner of the group always wants to be out of played with. She is currently being doggy door trained and litter box trained. We currently have one female available.
