Rehoming male malamute
I am rehoming my male alaskan malamute due to no fault of his own, he was born June of 2022 and is around 70lbs, currently not neutered because we'd like for him to mature more and be fully developed before fixing him. He likes to be around our 2 kittens, and prefer to be around female dogs (don't know how he acts around males, but he has shown no signs of aggression) he NEEDS someone that has a lot of time and patience with him and that can train him properly. While I am currently trying to train him he still has a bit of separation anxiety which is why I need to find him with someone that has the time and patience for him. He has his shots, and does not come with papers, that being said he is still purebred, confirmed by my friends on FB. I am rehoming him because of financial issues, my dad is the one paying for everything including the bills and since I currently hadn't had a job in months he's been paying for everything and now its coming to the point he's becoming broke because he has extra mouths to feed (I had to move in with him when I left my mom's house because of how toxic she was and even trying to be possesive with my dog, so I had to move in with my dad unexpectedly and this was just in a matter of a week of me having my boy) so I feel like it is fair the rehoming fee I am asking for him, while I want to find him a good home fast I have to be sure I just don't give anyone my dog especially if they would not be willling to spend that much on him (its not 1K but its not less than 3oo if anyone is interested I'll tell you in pm) But please do not come to me and ask for price, and then if the price is not to your liking then you just stay quiet and not say anything, this just means to me you want a cheap dog without knowing the breed or the background of him. Please also do not come to me being interested in him, but then later on say that you need to ask your spouse if they are ok with it to, I've had people do this to and they had to back out because their spouse said no, so please make sure everyone is on board with the idea before making me think I've found him a possible home. Lastly, I already know I'm gonna get comments saying something like "Take him back to the breeder" or "Take him to a rescue" tried that, I always try to deal with things before going to the Internet for help. Also I already know what you're thinking, "You should not have gotten a dog if you didn't have time for him" I did have time, but with family problems that has and is still currently happening for MONTHS I not only lost time but lost patience as well. And with each day passing I gain more guilt because he gets older by each passing day and with each day he could be spending it running around with a family instead of dealing with my stress. I've always wanted a dog, I had done a couple years of research on the breed and was willing to put the time and effort, but timing is just not right at all. Unfortunately we are having to rehoming Oscar, 2 and a half years old. Good with all people and children. we brought him from a breeder 2 weeks ago and was told he is OK with other dogs.
