Chance was neglected/abused by his original owners, surrendering him with an ear infection, a skin infection, and a broken leg. Despite everything he had been through, his tail was constantly wagging when I met him. Even though he couldn’t walk properly, he was trying so hard to keep up with the dog we had with us at the time. After his leg healed, his personality started to show. He loves playing with his toys: balls, bones, and squeaky stuffed animals. He is house trained, but not fully crate trained. He has some separation anxiety, and tends to be reactive while walking on leash. He just wants to play with every dog he sees, and he gets frustrated that he can’t get to them. His new owners would ideally have a back yard for him to run in, or are very active and can take him out. Chance is a good boy, but he needs some direction. Either a trainer or an experienced owner who will take the time to train him.
