Located Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA We are looking for a home for our 2 cats. We are moving to Fort Wainright Alaska and unfortunately we can't bring them with us since we also have 2 dogs. They have been amazing companions. I would also prefer that they stay together so they have some sense of familiarity in a new home. Odin- Our sweet boy is about 4 years old. We adopted him when we were stationed at Fort Benning he was 12 weeks and he just melted my heart when I met him. He was immediately friendly and wanted to cuddle up on my lap. He is a purr machine and just loves to snuggle and play. He is a little chonk at 12lbs (He's a large cat) He is a domestic short-haired Tabby. He is fixed but not up to date on his vaccines he needs his annual vaccines/Booster shots and a rabies shot. He gets along with our German Shepherd and Terrier mix and will cuddle with our German Shepherd. Avera- Our sassy little nugget. We took her in when my friends mom was unable to care for her. She is also about 4 years old. She is very shy upon 1st meeting her. But once she was comfortable she becomes a little shadow following your every move meowing for attention. She is also not shy about reminding you it's time for breakfast or dinner. She loves to snuggle as well but on her terms. If your laying down for a nap she'll make herself nice and comfy on you. She loves catnip and will go crazy if you sprinkle just a bit on her tower or one of her toys. She is tolerant of our German shepherd but she prefers Odins company or her human. She's a sweet girl with some attitude when she's hungry. She is also a domestic short-haired tabby. She's a small cat only about 7 or 8lbs. She is fixed but not up to date on her shots. She'll need her annual shots along with a rabies shot. They are both good with getting their nails clipped just have plenty of treats nearby. You can also use nail caps if you'd like but Odin can get them off pretty quickly.
