I have 5 baby green Quaker parrots ready for their new homes. The Quakers have been co-parented, so have benefitted psychologically and physically from being fed by their parents, but were also lovingly handled everyday by all members of the family, so they are not scared of people. (I am lucky that the parents were good natured and let me touch their chicks without getting stressed). The Quakers have been fed on good quality seed, pellets, fruit and veggies (sweetcorn and broccoli being their favourite!), boiled egg and healthy human food; therefore they should not be fussy eaters.
