American hounds is a small breeding program consisting of one male and two females. We have one litter per year rotating the females so each of them get a year off in between whelping. This allows me to dedicate my time and energy to the individual litter. In turn we get home grown puppies that get plenty of time on the farm and loads of playtime with children. We try to keep our puppies for 10-12 weeks so they have enough time to thrive with their mothers. We care a lot about our dogs and allow them to live a free range life style on the farm which helps acclimate them to various types of animals. We also provide lifelong support and will never turn away our puppies if they need to come back.
