Sweet bernedoodle. Must find a home with someone who will be home more than they are gone. Very timid with adults but slowly will allow pets after a good amount of time. Has bad social anxiety, we socialized him as a puppy and overtime he became increasingly panicked it public. We paid for a trainer to help with behavioral issues and she said the social anxiety was just something we needed to respect and not force him to socialize when it was bringing him stress. So he is a house dog. Loves running around the yard. Great for car rides. Even with his anxiety he does great at the groomers and the vet. We just always prewarn about his anxiety so they take their time with him. He doesn’t overeat so I just fill his bowl in the morning and he grazes all day. Very good about sitting at the back door to go outside for potty (or squirrels). He is not fixed. We hoped to do puppies one day because he got a heavy dose of the poodle side of him and barely sheds. I usually have sensitivity to animals but I don’t need my allergy meds with him. He does love tissues and toilet paper so we keep the bathroom doors shut and have no problems. Bear will counter surf if food is left out on the table or kitchen counter. He knows the commands sit, place, heel, stay, and lay down. When regularly walked he behaves well on the leash. He is two years old, eighty pounds and up to date on shots. Faithfully given his heart guard and flea and tick meds at the beginning of the month. Must have a meet and greet and make SURE the new home and family are a good fit for Bear. We love him but with an upcoming move and expansion of our family we want him to have more attention than we can give.
