Petzlover
We have raised our puppy since buying him from the breeders at 3mos old. He will be 1 November 18, 2025. He is full of energy just like a puppy, does great off leash on a long hike and mostly listens. He obeys selective commands like sit and shake and lie down. We’ve taught him to tap the door/bells when he needs out to go potty/poo as well. He is smart and at home he’s king of the castle. Loves to sit close and very affectionate. Loves to snuggle and wrestle. He responds to “down” when he’s on the couch and just too playful, so that’s helpful…. We LOOOOOVE him, but we are moving and our new landlords will not allow dogs. He has not been neutered yet (will encourage to do soon!) he’s updated on all vaccinations and rabies even bordetella shots. He LOVES mingling with other dogs and isn’t quite trained on leash behavior but for the most part he just loves meeting new dogs. His anxiety to go new places makes him a bit stubborn to get in and out of the car, but once he’s to the park or the hike he loves it and is totally fine. At 85 lbs you have to be able to lift him— and he’s expected to be 110-120 pounds once full grown! His parents are pure bread and we have their certificate of pedigree which makes him a pure bred Bernese mountain dog, but we’re just sad to see him go. He’s a bit too much for two working parents and we travel so often we can’t provide him the right exercise and time outside we’d like! Looking for a good family WITH kids or without, but an active couple who loves dogs!
