Kona is a 9-month-old awesome brindle/white girl with an awesome pedigree containing Kilacabar lines and champion and Silverwood winner Nocturnal Knight at Arnolds. She was intended for my small breeding program but was found to have mild heart disease (specifically "mild mitral valve dysplasia" and "mild aortic stenosis") on her pre-breeding screen. This is in no way affecting her as noted on the echo report from UGA. I will email the report to you upon request. Many dogs live very normal lives with a mild heart condition so she will be a great pet--just not for breeding as I don't want to pass along any known health problems. She was spayed 8-21-15. Kona is very energetic and loves to play ball and play in the water. She's crazy about a water sprinkler! She will definitely need a home with a big yard and lots of exercise. She is primarily an outside dog. She is very loving and loyal and likes to protect her people. She does good with other dogs but is quick to jump in if she thinks harm is coming your way (ie: one of the other dogs is playing too rough, etc). Any time two dogs meet it is a good idea to have them on leashes and take it slowly. Kona is eating Taste of the Wild puppy food and NuVet vitamins. She is AKC registered and is up to date on shots, de-wormings, heartworm prevention, and Bravecto (flea/tick treatment that lasts 3 months). On 9/7/15, she weighed 49 lbs. I may consider shipping but would much prefer Kona being picked up.
