This is the second and final litter of chihuahua puppies our two babies will have. We know the father is from two generations of multicolor pure-bred shorthair/smooth chihuahuas as we were introduced to both his parents and grandparents when we got him at 10 weeks old (2013) They were very well trained and quiet dogs after there initial security barks. The mothers parents were both shorthair/ smooth Chihuahuas one chocolate and one blue that we got to meet in (2015)and genetics showed through as the mother has a blue nose and blue eyes. The first litter consisted of three beautiful multicolor chihuahuas, two of them having their mothers blue eyes and nose. This litter consists of one male and two females. This time we believe that the recessive long hair gene has shown through on two of them which we’ve come to learn through research isn’t as rare as we thought. The long haired male and female have the blue nose and eyes and the shorthair female(runt) has black nose dark eyes and her fathers colors. They were born 10/03/17 and are already weaned off their mom and eating solid puppy food. The soonest they will be available to take home is 11/28/17 but Sometime in December would be best as they can develope horrible behavioral habits if they leave their family too early(the yappy little dogs most despise) If you spend the time to train them they are the best low budget,low maintenance,loyal companions you’ll ever know. Please do your research on this breed before you think about adding one into your family.
