We have TWO wonderful dogs: A Chihuahua &a Chiweenie (that we`ve had for quite a while). Each weighs about 8 pounds. What`s a Chiweenie? A Chiweenie (also known as a Choxie) is a Designer Breed -A cross between a Chihuahua and a Dachshund. They are also affectionately known as: Weeniehuahuas, Mexican Hot Dogs & German Tacos. They both come from the same loving home - And, ideally, we`d like to keep them together. They are completely up to date on their shots (3 year shots just a few days ago on 8/20/2021) - and both have recently been given a clean bill of health by a Veterinarian. They are also both registered as Emotional Support Animals (ESA`s) - Meaning that we can take them on the airlines for free when we travel, etc.. All of their papers (shots, recent medical exams & `Emotional Support Animal` paperwork) are up to date, in order and available. My wife and I are at a point in our lives where we want to be able to travel extensively and we`re finding that the kind of travel we want to do is not compatible with owning dogs. We are Re-Homing them (will give them away for FREE!) - But only to the right Loving Home. Also, you can have their portable kennels (suitable for airline travel), pet beds, cage, dog food, leashes, ground stakes, yard leashes, etc.. - Everything you need for the dogs. Here are a few other facts about the dogs: They are both female. They are both fixed. They are 9 and 10 years old. The Chihuahua acts like a dog (and barks at other dogs). The Chiweenie acts like a person (and barks at people). The Chiweenie exhibits scared aggression in unfamiliar situations. (Specifically: she barks at unfamiliar people because she`s afraid. But she does NOT bite or attack them. She just barks at them.) They would get along with another large dog. However, our preference would be to give them to a home without any dogs or cats. (This is to better insure their well-being in terms of "not getting attacked by a big dog" etc.) We would prefer that they go to a household without small children (who might be a little too aggressive towards them). The ideal household would be one where at least one adult is around all the time so that they are not left alone for 8 to 10 hours per day. The ideal new family would be one that has already owned a Chihuahua before and is familiar with the breed. We are located in Milwaukee Wisconsin. If this posting is still up, the dogs are still available. Serious Inquiries: PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK A PHONE NUMBER that you can be reached at. Sincerely, John
