“Chico” was nearly dead when we got him coming back from Mexico at the San Diego boarder late last year. He is mostly chihuahua, part miniature pincher, and a bit of a mutt (according to his DNA report). He is up to date of his shots with records, has a pre-paid appointment to get neutered on the 9th of May, and has complete medical coverage for any possible needs in a plan at Banfield through PetSmart till November. We are willing to pay it ($50 monthly) for those who can't or if it would be a financial strain. As for potty training, he goes on “piddle pads” when he is in the house. Chico is still a puppy (6 months old/10 pounds) and needs someone with a lot of time and love to offer him the training he needs. In his short life, he hasn’t been able to attach to anyone as the person we had in mind for him couldn’t keep him due to landlord issues. Everyone in our household works many hours and we simply do not have the time or energy he needs to have a quality life. Please keep in mind, he will be nervous and bark until he settles down with someone stable. Please consider giving this dog a great home so we don’t have to take our chances on the pound.
