I am looking for a forever home for my Chiweenie. This a mix between a Chihuahua and a Miniature Dachshund and they are considered a designer dog breed as they will stay small. Please understand that this is a puppy and that puppies are cute but they are a tremendous amount of work and need a lot of love and a whole lot of patients. You will most likely want to hire a puppy trainer as puppies do bite and go potty everywhere until trained otherwise. I have all the things that the puppy needs that are brand new including food beds toys play pen blankets…etc. He has had his first two rounds of shots. The next set needs to be done on October 18th 2024. He will need to be nurtured at 9 months as small dogs need to be older before this can take place. He was born on July 12th of 2024 making him approx 12 weeks old and he currently weights 3 lbs. He is a blonde and brown short hair Chiweenie. If you would like to be considered you will need to set up your vet to request the vet records for this puppy from my vet that way I know he will be taken care of. He is being leash trained currently and is doing really well but he does like to pick up things and eat them so you have to be vigilant in watching him. Although I am trying to potty train him to go outside he uses potty pads in home. He makes it onto the potty pads about 80% of time and is getting better. When I am not home I have him in his play pen which he will cry in for about 15 min before he calms down. He does not like to be left alone and prefers to sleep with you holding him or laying next to you. He is very loving and cuddly but very active and curious so he needs constant supervision when he is not in his play pen. He is living with a cat currently but I do have to separate them at times as the puppy has not been fully trained not to bite. He currently eats both dry and wet healthy puppy food and has one teething bone a day. He sleeps with his stuffed tiger and a stuffed puppy and loves to have a heating pad covered with a blanket nearby in case he gets cold. The rehoming fee will be $700 which is negotiable depending on what steps you will be taking to train and take care of him. This price includes all previous vet visits with an up to date shot record and all brand new supplies. All I ask is that if the puppy doesn’t work out that you please bring him back to me as I will do everything I can to find the perfect forever home for him.
