I am writing this post with a heavy heart. For reasons out of our control, my husband and I have made the gut wrenching decision to find another home for our 1 1/2 year old American English Coonhound named Bruno. I would like to give a little background about our decision in hopes that it will bring the best possible outcome for our sweet dog. My husband and I are relocating to a different state in order to care for his mother who is in failing health. She has a severe allergy to dogs but that has never kept her from absolutely loving them, especially Bruno. Unfortunately because of her recent diagnosis we are unable to risk bringing Bruno to live in the same house as her because she is so severely allergic. I honestly cannot stress enough how hard it is going to be for us to say goodbye to Bruno and also how important it is to us that we do everything we can to find him another loving and deserving home. Bruno has been such a vibrant and incredible addition to our lives and we have been truly blessed to have had the time we have had with him!! Bruno is a very loving and sweet dog who enjoys the outdoors and being around others. He thrives off of positive attention and he is very affectionate. He loves having a yard to roam around in and also enjoys going for walks when able to. He can be a bit of a diva, if you will, so if his new home has other dogs or cats its usually best for him to have his own food bowl. Other then that he is a low maintenance dog who truly only wants someone to love him and someone he can love right back!! We have been so very lucky to have had him.
