Hello! This is Lady a3 year old AKC registered Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is super sweet with adults and older children. She loves to play with a soccer ball in the yard or tug-of-war with her favorite humans. She’s a bit lazy when it comes to walks but still gets dragged out to one every day. She struggles to calmly pass dogs on a leash and is quite protective of her yard. Lady is a typical corgi who is as smart as she is stubborn. She know several commands but can be quite impatient when it comes to “stay”. Lady is currently on a prescription food to help with urinary health due to a few UTI’s over the winter. She is otherwise is great health and a little hefty for her breed (she will eat almost any food that makes it to the ground). She is highly food motivated and can be easily trained with consistency. Lady is being rehomed due to behavioral issues within our home. She grew up with our 3 cats and older xl sized dog. It has turned out that she does not do well with cats (chases and pesters despite extensive training). She also struggles with our other dog and would most likely do best as the only pet in your home. She also seriously struggles with resource guarding which is a difficult behavior with young children around. She does well with adults and older children who understand her temperament. When she has us to herself she is just the sweetest little thing. She is constantly seeking us out for pets. Lady also immediately lays down in front of people to entice a belly rub. She will be the best companion once she’s finds a more comfortable home!
