Samson is an AKC red piebald miniature dachshund. He is 10 months old . He is current on all vaccinations, rabies and on advantage multi monthly for heart worm prevention. Samson was purchased as a future breeding sire, but unfortunately he had a very rough start as a puppy . We picked him up from the breeder , and on our drive home he just became very limp. We went to the emergency vet clinic and he was diagnosed with being infested with coccidia. The vet actually said she had never seen such a small puppy with that many coccidia in all her 35 years of being a vet. Next health issue we found that he had an undescended testicle that would have to be found. We got Samson all healthy from the coccidia issue and got all his vaccinations current and the vet wanted to wait a little longer to see if the testicle would drop . It never did and we had to pay for exploratory neuter surgery, thank goodness the surgery was a complete success. Samson is now a very healthy happy boy and we have decided to place him up for sale.
