3 young Diamond Doves in Ypsilanti, Michigan: 1 male (blue-grey, large orange eye ring, 2 yrs), 1 female (cinnamon colored, 3 yrs), 1 unsexed (small with lighter coloring, a little under 2 months). The male and female are a bonded pair. Though this female has had babies in the past, the baby is from a different pair of doves. The baby will be ready in a week or two, once I see that it is fully weened. The adult male and female are ready now. This breed is from Australia and they are about the same size as a canary. They live for 8-10 yrs. They are a pretty blue-grey (or cinnamon) color with white speckles on their wings and have bright orange rings around their eyes when grown. They are very sweet and coo, especially in the morning and evening. They make excellent pets for apartments as they are quiet, clean, and easy to care for. They can be trained to sit on your hand.
