The Rat Terrier is an American dog breed with a background as a farm dog and hunting companion, while also making an amazing indoor pet. They are, Intelligent, lively, alert, affectionate, loving easy to train. Common throughout families in the 1920s and 1930s, they are now recognized by the United and American Kennel Clubs and are considered a rare breed. They grow to be no more than 10-20 pounds. The Mini Double Doodle are known to be extremely calm and patient and are considered great family pets for this very reason. Mini Double Doodles are intelligent and friendly dogs that take well to training efforts. They tend to do well with other dogs and enjoy spending time socializing with family and other animals.
