I have two green cheek conures that I really need to rehome. I bought them about a month ago from a breeder in Austin. I never wanted to breed them. I just wanted them as companions. Unfortunately I need to get rid of them simply because at first they would bite an attack my little parakeet and now they try to attack my son I need somebody who will take them off on my hands. I bought them for over $1,200 and I really want them to go to somebody who's more experienced with them. I've been nipped at a few times by the female I call Freyja. The male conure I call Thor does like to nip at you when he's just done being handled or is just bored. They would come with all of their stuff at no cost. They would be $450 each but since they are paired I do not want to sell them separate. They have mated a few times in my home so I'm thinking that they were breeder pairs before I got them. I really need them gone which is why I'm going such a low price. They come with their cage, food, water bowl and their toys. Located in Kempner Texas To give you a little information on how they are in my home. They do not like brooms. They do not like vacuum cleaners. They like blueberries and blackberries mixed with mullet and bananas. Thor's definitely the dominant one. He also loves baths as you can tell in one of the photos, he will literally jump in your sink if you're doing dishes. Freya is naturally cuddly when she wants to be but you have to watch out for her because she will pretend to perch on you just to bite you. And she will draw blood. I think it might be personally me. That's the issue because I'm not really familiar with gcc. They are pineapple mutated. Little backstory before I got them. Supposedly they were with someone through the pandemic and it's supposedly that person couldn't take care of them anymore, but I personally think that they were breeder birds. With how much they mate. They definitely need somebody who's more experienced than I am. They're pretty much like a human when they want to be. But for my little breed bird And my child safety. I need them to be rehomed to somebody that has the experience and understanding of GCC's. 900 is the lowest I will go. The sooner they can go the better. My son is scared of them.
