Blue and yellow macaw,her name is Maxzine.She is a talkative bird who says quite a lot.She loves to talk,and likes a lot of attention ,she also likes for you to give her peanutes to snack on along with her parrot food.She says things like hello,and bye,bye,and sometimes she will talk back to the other birds.She mimics phases that she picks up from people around her *** when my mother would correct the birds when they got loud.She started saying knock it off,shut up right now,and you know better to the other birds.She was mimicking my mother's voice all the while doing this at times.Maxine is very smart,and would be a great bird for someone who would take the time to get to know her,and earn her trust in them.We have a green macaw named Cocoa also who is very talkative.He is quite a chacter,and sounds like a mexican when he talks.He says things like hey babe,lord,come on,hello,and various other phases.He loves to have alot of attention too,and is very smart.With the right owners both birds would be great pets for someone who is able to spend quality time with *** all birds they have to really get to know you and you have to earn there trust, and bond with them.These type of birds live for a long time and so they need to go to a forever good home where they will be loved and cared for everyday.We are rehoming them and selling them because my father is getting on up in age and is 77yrs old,and thinks that they would be better off with someone who is adult age and a lot younger than he is at this time.He is a diabetic,and is no longer able to keep the birds due to him getting older,and having to buy his diabetic medicine ,and I am his daughter,but I am having to go back to work to help support my self and help out here financially as my dad is retired and is living on a fixed *** with me trying to go back to work that does not leave me here to help him with the birds,and they really do need homes where they can get the love and attention that they will *** name is Angela Jones and we live here in Garner,N.C. We both would love to here from you if anyone has an interest in Maxzine or Cocoa.I am happy to report that our bird Maxzine the blue and yellow macaw was adopted out to a very loving family who came to my home and purcased her,and she now has a forever home with a very loving family.I am so trilled to have met Thersa and her nephew who came out to my home.She got the bird for her son,and Maxzine has accepted this family and is bonding beautifully with them.Thank you Thersa for all your love and kindness in adopting Maxzine.God works in mysterious ways,and I believe he lead the way in making all this possible.We now are focusing on finding a forever home for Cocoa who is still available for adoption.He is our green yellow naped macaw.He is absolutely beautiful and talks up a storm.I have been working more with him and he will now get up on my arm.He is a sweet and funny bird.With the right person who has patience to bond with him,he will be a wonderful *** I hope that maybe God will work a little miracle and send to him a beautiful family who loves birds just as much as our family has over the years.I believe that our prayers for our pets do get answered,and that God always has a reason for the way all things work out.Hopefully he will send us another beautiful family who will love Cocoa just as much as we do!
