He can already go up and down stairs all by himself! Psst… Most families buy a Maltese puppy for a daughter(s) between 5 and 10 years old. Once you’ve had a Maltese, you don’t go back to any other breed…. Yes, dads, I’m talking to you too. Why? Because this Roman Ladies’ Dog/Lion Dog of Malta, is perhaps the oldest purebred lap dog/toy dog still in existence, and they are SOOO CUTE, you can’t stand it. Maltese stay puppies for 2 years. You will be stopped by children and adults alike for the rest of this little guy’s life! Compliments, questions, the occasional stranger wanting to pet and even hold your animal!
