Beautiful Farm and Estate guardians. Half Maremma sheepdog and half Great Pyrenees born 10/5/24. Parents on site. 5 males and one female. Dad is a very friendly small Snow White GP. Mom was pick of the litter, sweet dog and she has peaches n cream color on ears and body as do most of the pups. Dad now fixed this will be their only litter. Europeans have kept both breeds as estate guardians for centuries, while in the USA they have been mostly used as livestock guardians exclusively. Mom like most Maremma is more aloof and easy going and looks and acts a lot like a Golden Retriever. Less active than herding dogs like Australian shepherds or heelers. These dogs would do best in a large well fenced yard or farm with many pets, people or livestock to look after. They are protective of both people, animals and property but are not usually black listed like some guard dog breeds. The puppies have been around cats and small dogs along with both parents. We are starting litter pan training and will have them ready with first vaccines, wormed and micro chipped. A puppy care kit with puppy food will be included. Great homes most important and price is negotiable. Will hold till Christmas but they will be pretty big by then! Some say it is better to let them learn social skills from parents and siblings up to 12 weeks. I suggest checking out Back to the Basics LGD training site on Facebook to learn more about LGD dogs and about training these dogs in a modern humane way. We are located a few miles from Pechanga Casino on the edge of San Diego county.please text or call me Raquel (xxx)xxx-xxxx.
