He is about 1.5 years old, very sweet and inquisitive. Loves to come up to the glass and look at you and follow you around. We love him, but just got a new kitten and want to find him a better home. We are asking $50 if you only want the turtle. If you would like its whole set up(which is extensive), I am asking $400. This includes a large tank, a lid a floating basking platform, the light needed with the two bulbs, the holder for this lamp, a very nice fluval filter-It was $220 it works amazingly, a light bar with a remote, a heater, a net, several different foods it enjoys, the reptisafe solution, a log for it to go under, a freshwater test kit, the tubing to drain the water from tank when it needs to be cleaned, and a decorative stump. This would make a great pet for your child if they want a pet but you don't want the hair and mess that comes with cats and dogs. With this filter being so effective, he is pretty low maintenance.
