Hi All -I recently adopted an young male PUG from the County Animal Shelter and am looking for information on his earlier life. He's bigger than a true "toy" and weighs in about 11lbs or so and has a gold orange coat with white on his chest, belly, and a bit on his face. He had a hard go in his journey to the Shelter as someone abandoned him locked in a kennel carrier without food or water on the side of the road. He was there for at least 24 hours until some kind stranger noticed that the carrier was still there a day later and stopped to investigate. Anyway he's a pretty spunky guy and is settling in well to his new life which will be a safe, loving, and fun life. I'm guessing whoever had him was probably beside themselves trying to figure out what to do with him and hopefully would be relieved to hear that he will be doing well from here on out. Please realize I'm not trying to pass any sort of judgment nor am particularly interested in judgmental commentary (all's well that ends well...) but focusing on the health and history of the dog is my primary interest. Any and all details are of interest but particularly health/Vet info, age, name, stories about his puppyhood and previous life, etc.; really anything at all of his personal history would be appreciated. If the kind stranger who rescued him reads this I'd also love to hear the details of that experience. Replies by Craigslist email is wholly confidential so if any of this story rings a bell, please do reply without any worry of well, anything! Thanks for reading and for any MCAS fans or anti-fans, you can count me in the "fan" category - by any quality animal care standard, they do a great job of managing our metropolitan critters! P.S. - If you are so inclined and share your phone in your reply, I would be pleased to text or speak in person..(xxx) xxx-xxx0.
