Sweety was found in the desert with her two siblings back in September. All 3 had or caught parvo. Her brother passed away, her sister lived with no hospitalization and has been adopted to a new family. Sweety was hospitalized for 3 days back in September and cost over 1,500$ for the whole care and meds. She has since been with me(5 year old kid, 2 big dogs and a cat) and she is comfy around all of us. Her house training does need reassurance and a strict schedule. But she is an amazing dog. I have gotten her fixed, chipped and up to date on shots. I just don't have the house space and energy needed for such a full home. I wanted to keep her, as asking for what I have spent on her as an adoption fee is outrageous. But I can accept a monetary loss if it means she lived, isn't out on the streets and is safe with a loving home.
