This puppy is 8 weeks old. He has been checked thoroughly by our vet. He has no intestinal parasites, no Parvo, or any other deadly diseases. He is perfectly healthy and playful except for diarrhea that the vet seems to think may be caused by a nervous stomach and a long drive from where we purchased him plus he was being fed a very harsh dog food. He also misses his litter mates and his mom. We had to slowly change his diet, that probably didn't help a lot but the vet approved. We feed Science Diet for Puppies. We are waiting to see if this clears for his next vet visit on 11/3/22 where he will get his next set of shots and worming and one more check up/fecal check. Nevertheless, we are unable to keep him. We let our hearts get in the way of our heads and now we are in a bind. IF, we were younger, we'd keep him, but now we both know we made a mistake. For his best we want to place him a GOOD home. The vet seems to think there will be an improvement on the meds. Right now he is on a regimen of probiotic paste, probiotic powder, and antibiotics. He is sweet as he can be, playful, loves to bite your toes and it HURTS! He also loves to chew on things that he shouldn't. He follows us all over the house. To keep him from soiling our carpet we put a diaper on him. If he could go outside, it may not be necessary, but I don't believe in allowing pups to touch the ground outside until they have had all of their shots. We have never had any Parvo, Distemper, Lepto, or anything like that in our yard, but strays come around and I don't know what they carry so I won't take a chance. If you would like to speak to us about this puppy, please call us. Ask for John or Donna. We will be very honest with you. By the way, we call him 'Maverick'. xxx-xxx-xxxx
