Hello, I'm here looking to find a new home for my feathered friend. Cage and accessories included. His name is Lemmington, or Lemmy for short. He can talk, though it isn't perfectly audible. He says his name, hello, how are you, and what you doing. He is and let me express this, a VERY NEEDY bird. He wants constant attention. I purchased him believing him to be more solitary, however this is not the case. He wants constant attention, and will squeak for it if you leave the room. I have not been able to break him of this behavior. He does not show any self destructive behavior, he is very healthy. Eats well, and likes to play with foot toys. He loves treats, and if it were possible he would have you scratch his head all day, or until he had a bald spot. Like any bird he takes some time to warm up, as far as I can tell he doesn't seem to mind men, or women. It's more about your demeanor and how much time you've spent around him. He's around two years old, these bird's live a decent length of time so, before adopting him please consider this commitment. He is somewhat skittish at first, but isn't cage aggressive. He hangs upside down and does silly dances, he also eats in a rather funny way. He eats from his food bowl whilst simultaneously using it as a toilet. Another lovely habit I haven't quite broken him of. Really I'm trying to find someone with more time than I have to spend with him. I would like for him to be well taken care of. He's a pet not a proven bird. He has bitten before, it does indeed hurt. I had taught him to step up, with time and trust, however he doesn't like to do it anymore after a startle he had. If you have any questions, or managed to read this far feel free to contact me. I can provide more pictures and information if it pleases you. I'm really searching for the right person, I'm in no hurry to get rid of my friend. I just think he'd be better off with someone who didn't have work hours like mine.
