14 month old American Staffordshire Terrier, recently spayed and updated Rabies shot. Due for other shots June 2022 Sasha is the most loving and loyal dog. She’s had one owner since she was 12 weeks old, but was socialized well with other dogs and people early on. Sasha is energetic and she loves running around and chasing other dogs playfully. When she’s given her own space she will often lounge around as well. She loves to take naps while adults/owners are busy, but she is attention demanding from time to time. She takes well to a consistent routine with morning walks, midday-afternoon bathroom walks, and night walks; or whatever combination available to complete. Sasha does need more obedience training. Sasha does have a bit of separation anxiety and it shows up in her shedding. Regular monthly grooming should be a priority. She’s typically obedient to a “sit” command, “paw” command, and “down” command, but as with most dogs, trust will need to be built to see consistency in her adhering to those commands. Someone with a large backyard, another friendly large breed dog, and dog training knowledge would be the best owner for Sasha. Current owner is graduate school student who has found that they weren’t ready for the responsibility of a pet and its causing more financial hardship than expected.
