I must rehome my Maine Coon Molly. She is mostly Maine Coon mixed with another breed. She is sweet, loving, playful and wants to be on her person's lap or nearby. She is a typical Maine Coon character - she loves to be petted and even likes to play. She is potty trained and uses a cat scratching post. I have another cat and have recently moved to a new home and suddenly Molly is aggressive toward my other cat and vis versa. The other cat, Simba, is now doing his business out of the litter box. I have witnessed this enough times to know it is Simba. I love animals and this is a tough choice to rehome Molly. I can't rehome Simba - it would not be right and he risks being abandoned since he has this problem. I can only work on changing Simba. I have had other cats in my home to save them from being euthanized and found homes for them within 2 weeks, but in the meantime Molly was unhappy having other cats around. She would hide for long periods of time and now I think even though the other cats have been adopted, Molly is unhappy with Simba. So it seems to me that Molly needs to be the ony cat in a home. I also have dogs and she does get along with them. She is comfortable in the same space as the dogs. She simply wants to be with her person. I have had Molly for 2 years and she has been a loving cat that makes me smile -I hate having to give her up. Please contact me by phone so we can talk about adoption of Molly.
