Blue and gold macaw
Sweetie, an 18-year-old female, blue and gold macaw beautiful, gets along well with dogs. She’s friendly steps up on just about anybody‘s hand or shoulder. We are currently just retired and now looking to travel and would like to find a good home for her the price includes an extremely large cage, all of the toys, food, etc. no shipping involved pick up only. She has bonded with my husband and prefers males. She loves to go for a ride in the car. She does not care for pet carriers. We’ve always transported her just on her shoulder in the car. She does have her wings trimmed and toenails beak every four months. she is on a Mixed seed diet along with fresh freshly cut food, daily, blueberries, peas, carrots, red peppers, green peppers, bananas, apples love oranges, and always add new fresh food to her diet. She loves to sit on my husband’s chest and shred newspaper. Also, enjoy sitting outside on the fence around the pool. To encourage her to take a bath. I turn on the water in the sink and she instantly recognizes it’s her time to bathe. She’s always up at sunrise. Every morning I put her on her stand while I shower. She loves the effects of the steam while she’s eating breakfast. She does not spend much time in her cage. She is out throughout the day while we’re home. She’s amazing when you scratch her neck underneath her feathers, she’s never plucked and is extremely healthy. She has a small vocabulary and is a bit shy, but I have plenty of videos of her speaking. My main concern is a good home I think she might like the company of a light kind of bird.
