Ellen Green cheek conure
This is Ellen. She can fly but she doesn't do it often but I keep her cage open all day so she can come and go as she pleases. She is friendly, loves fresh fruit, loves water. She loves to help you do the dishes or take a shower with you and sit on your head. She makes a fuss when she's ready for bed which is about midday around 5:00 p.m. she wants to be covered up to rest. She will also demand food if she hears any kind of wrapper lol. She does have a sharp beak and can bite, she only does this if she's provoked or scared. She doesn't like loud TVs or music. She does like to come down from her cage and harass my dogs and eat their food on occasion. She needs to be with somebody who can give her all of the time and attention that she desires. Sadly, his time as a good pet for a high schooler has gone as this college student is now graduating and moving out of the house. He can say pretty bird, loves being a goof ball, and will hang out with you as much as you let him. He may be a little cranky from not getting as much attention the last year or two, but some proper attention would probably solve that. I would not recommend as a first pet, but would be a blast to those who have kept a bird before. Cage included. About nine years old, had one owner before us for a year or two.
