Beagle is originated from United Kingdom but Prazsky Krysarik is originated from Czech Republic. Beagle may grow 18 cm / 8 inches higher than Prazsky Krysarik. Beagle may weigh 7 kg / 16 pounds more than Prazsky Krysarik. Both Beagle and Prazsky Krysarik has almost same life span. Beagle may have more litter size than Prazsky Krysarik. Both Beagle and Prazsky Krysarik requires Low Maintenance.
There are some accounts of similar size dogs used for hunting in Greece in 5th century BCE. During 8th century the Talbot Hound breed was created. In 11th century Talbot Hound was brought to England by William the Conqueror. While using in hunting they are found to be a slow runner. To overcome the situation and increase their running speed the hunting people bred Talbot Hound with Grey hounds. The beagles described earlier were very small in size and are said as pocket beagles.
You won’t find this dog outside the Czech Republic, which is a pity, because as one of the smallest breeds, it’s a great choice for people with small properties.
It’s not a new breed, and there are records of it having been around in the Middle Ages, being valuable for catching rats.
The breed went through a decline in the 1980s, but their breeding program was started, although it isn’t an FCI acknowledged breed.
They are small and compact breed, and always happy and fun loving. They should be trained by patient and creative training techniques. Beagles are very much interested in using their nose in finding interesting scents and are food focussed. They always wake their neighbours at 6 am by their half howling. The Pražský Krysařík is a small dog standing at between 20 and 23cm in height and weighing between 1.5 and 4kg.
The Prazsky Krysarik may be small, but he is robust with a broad chest and a lean body with a fragile, lizard like head, much like a Chihuahua. The legs are fragile and thin. The ears are fairly large and erect and he has a long tail. The coat is short, thin and glossy and is mostly black and tan.

After 4 weeks of birth the puppy can be given solid foods by slowly increasing the ratio for many weeks. The recommended food is fresh meat of chicken breast, lamb, turkey and lean hamburger.
