It feels like such an illegitimate reason to get rid of a pup; no behavioural issues, only a mentally unstable owner, i always wanted a dog I never owed one before so I got my dream pup and idk what i was thinking getting a puppy with 3 kids under 4 and another one on the way, and I got the worst puppy blues and they won’t go away and just freaking out about being responsible for this doggy soul and she is like taking care of another child, if she starts crying I’m crying, she is sooo sweet and I love her, I just want her to have a good life and I don’t want her to get used to us so she wouldn’t be heart broken. We got her a week ago from a breeder she is PURE breed Alaskan Malamute she is big and will grow up to be big. She is soooo sweet and sooooo gentle with my kids I have a4 year old 3 year old and a1 year old and she plays so gently with them. She has a submissive behavior and she has met doggy friends to get social skills and she did great! We haven’t taken her to a park yet cause she needs vaccines. She loves to be in our backyard, we are working on potty training and being on a leash she is getting better each day. Also we are going on our second week owning her so I’m getting better with her but if there is someone who can give her a better life then I can that would be great she is a smart dog and with training I feel like she will be an amazing obedient dog I just bit off more then I could chew. And I deserve all the hate I hate my self for this too.
