Recently Adopted American Shorthair Cats Near Contra Costa County
Wonderful, sweet cat who needs a new home!
We are moving, and unfortunately the place we are moving to doesn’t allow cats, so we’re having to look for a new home for our terrific Talia, alas! She is about 7-8 years old, is both and indoor and outdoor cat, which ever you prefer and allow, she’s ok with. Very gentle and sweet. Shy, but when she warms up to you, she will snuggle up, especially in the mornings and evenings. Despite her mildness, she is a TERRIFIC hunter. She’s killed plenty of mice, rats, and we’ve even seen her go after a turkey vulture (I kid you not, and it flew away double time!). If you have kids, because of her shyness she’ll tend to avoid them (unless they’re good with cats and know how to be quieter and more gentle), but when she is “harassed” by little kids, she always either runs away, or just meekly accepted it, NEVER had any issues with kids (even when they might have deserved a little lesson on how to treat animals). House trained, of course. No issues there. Have all the supplies you need: food and water bowl and protective covering to go underneath, open and covered liter box, her cushion/bed, travel carrier, self-dispensing water and food dishes, enough food and liter to last at least a month, maybe more, liter box waste trash can and bags. Thank you for considering adopting our wonderful cat, and we hope that if you decide to take her, you’ll lover her as much as we have!View Detail
