Recently Adopted Austrailian Blue Heeler Puppies Near Kalamazoo County
Mini Heeler
Dexter is a5 month old male mini heeler. We have been fostering him since birth, he is the last of the liter remaining. He has been working hard at his potty training, on our front door we currently have a bell system, where he rings the bell and waits by the door. But he is a puppy still, so occasional accidents still happen. He is also working very hard at his kennel training, he knows the kennel is his space, he knows that’s where he eats, and he’s been pretty good about sleeping through the night, occasionally wakes up to go potty. He’s working on commands, he is successful with “Sit”, and “lay down”, he’s slowly mastering “wait”. He walks well on a leash!! He is up to date on ALL shots, and good for the year. He has not been fixed at this point. He is a very smart boy, a quick learner! He is very active and high energy, he definitely has the Heeler personality. Fostering the litter was do able, but unfortunately we are not able to keep him forever because we do not have the proper home space for a dog like him. We are looking for a home with a large yard, or even possibly a home with acreage. Somewhere that he has ability to release his energy!!
