Sadly, his time as a good pet for a high schooler has gone as this college student is now graduating and moving out of the house. He can say pretty bird, loves being a goof ball, and will hang out with you as much as you let him. He may be a little cranky from not getting as much attention the last year or two, but some proper attention would probably solve that. I would not recommend as a first pet, but would be a blast to those who have kept a bird before. Cage included. About nine years old, had one owner before us for a year or two. He has had some recall training although he doesn’t fly off and enjoys sitting out in the garden. He will make a fantastic free flier for someone with a bit more training as he is pretty much there already.
