Parents are family and farm dogs that also work traditionally and non -traditionally. Our dogs and pups are handled every day and are very much a part of our family as well as working on the farm and in the field. This breed is fiercely independent and wastes no time attempting to establish dominance. The Catahoula is a great dog for experienced owners. This breed requires a firm and confident owner, able to lead by example and with respect. Catahoula's are not for everyone. Please research this breed before contacting me. Research the bad as well as the good so that you know the breed before adopting. These pups are best suited for working, farming/hunting, homes or active homes.Sometimes a pup maybe better suited to a non working pet home. They do not do well in apartments or small yards. Parents are on site. Both parents are farm dogs with strong instinct for working and hunting. Puppy will be UTD on deworming & vaccinations. Puppy will receive first vaccination at 6 weeks of age and be on a deworming schedule beginning at 2 weeks of age. They will be started on proper kennel training and potty training. Puppy will have a2 YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE CONTRACT AND ARE MICROCHIPPED. We are located in the middle of Iowa. I will not hold a pup without a deposit of $150.00. We give 24 hours for the decision process and then move on to the next person inquiring. We will NOT hold a puppy without a deposit.
