Georgia is a 17 week old female Catahoula Beagle mix. She has started her vaccines and she is not spayed. She is about 20 pounds right now and is expected to grow to 40-70. She has plenty of energy to go around! She knows how to sit and lay down on command. She is in need of a loving and caring owner that has lots of patience for a puppy! I am assuming she will need some type of puppy class because she is having a hard time walking on a leash. It breaks my heart to have to do this, I just do not have enough time to spend with her and I feel bad for leaving her in the kennel all day. We will be looking for very active families and working or possible show homes for these pups. Parents are family and farm dogs that also work traditionally and non -traditionally.
Our dogs and pups are handled every day and are very much a part of our family as well as working on the farm and in the field. This breed is fiercely independent and wastes no time attempting to establish dominance. The Catahoula is a great dog for experienced owners. This breed requires a firm and confident owner, able to lead by example and with respect. Catahoula's are not for everyone. Please research this breed before contacting me. Research the bad as well as the good so that you know the breed before adopting.
These pups are best suited for working, farming/hunting, homes or active homes.Sometimes a pup maybe better suited to a non working pet home. They do not do well in apartments or small yards. Parents are on site. Both parents are farm dogs with strong instinct for working and hunting.
Puppy will be UTD on deworming & vaccinations. Puppy will receive first vaccination at 6 weeks of age and be on a deworming schedule beginning at 2 weeks of age. They will be started on proper kennel training and potty training.
Puppy will have a2 YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE CONTRACT AND ARE MICROCHIPPED.
We are located in the middle of Iowa. I will not hold a pup without a deposit of $150.00.
We give 24 hours for the decision process and then move on to the next person inquiring. We will NOT hold a puppy without a deposit.
Balance & signed contract due10 DAYS BEFORE time of pick-up or before you arrive or puppy leaves. All shipping or delivery arrangements,fees and anything pertaining to shipping the pup are additional and made and paid solely by the buyer.
