We were going to rehome Pelón about a month ago we found out he is bonded to our Campanita! We really didn’t want to rehome Pelón much less both of them. We tried separating them and they will just yell until they are back together. They fight when together which is why we had no idea they were bonded! They would most likely do best in 2 separate cages right next to eachother. They are both males. Campanita is such a sweet bird and sings so beautifully throughout the day. He will sit on top corner of cage and chirp for head scratches. They both love to be taken out of their cage and do their own thing. Pelón is not the kind of bird who really wants much affection. He just gets out and does whatever he wants to. Campanita as much as he loves being pet he is a struggle to take out just as much ad Pelón. Once he is on you he will be with you calmly and happily but getting him out is a struggle. Pelón will get out and just do whatever he wants to do. Campanita will bite at you and Pelón will hiss at you when you try grabbing them. They just don’t know how to step up and it scares them. Campanita only wants to be touched when he is chirping. If he is not chirping he does not want to be touched. When Campanita is chirping Pelón will go and bite at him guessing that is jealousy. They are not very tamed but they are very fun to have around. They sing very pretty and aren’t very loud. They could most likely be tamed with work. We just haven’t put in the work. There is a rehoming fee of 375 WHICH IS NEGOTIABLE TO A GOOD HOME. We paid 380 for just one of them. Pretty sure they are both around 4 years old. They will not be separated and a cage is not going with them. Free delivery to surrounding areas as far as Corvallis.
