Female Moluccan Cockatoo
6 year old Female Moluccan cockatoo. She is very gentle, funny, loving and full of personality. She loves females but I dona€™t think she cares much for men. She doesna€™t like my husband but that may be because he wears glasses and a most of the time a cap. Ita€™s kind of a love/hate thing. He cana€™t pet her but she has a fit when he leaves the room. It may well be because she is so attached to me. She would be perfect in a home of mostly females.
I think she would do well with other cockatoos because she has in the past. She is seldom in her cage and is out each evening when we watch TV. She does have an outdoor flight for the daytime in the summer so she does like that as well. She has a good appetite and has perfect plumage.
I wona€™t re-home her to anyone that does not have experience with large parrotsa€¦mostly cockatoos. They are loud at times and they need LOTS of attention. Think of her before you commit.
