Poppy is a well tempered sweet boy, whose owner passed away in May 2023. The deceased owner's Niece has been fostering Poppy since July 7th 2023. He turned 3 years old in September.
He starts off shy, but becomes affectionate toward people once he can trust them. He loves being pet, brushed, played with, talked to, and treats. He gravitates towards women and craves attention from the people he adores. When he finds a favorite person, he will follow them, bring them toys, and even lay on their blanket covered lap while watching TV. He responds to all nicknames that start with "P".
His original home had 7 other cats, all fighting for attention and resources. Because of this, he is a bit socially handicapped towards other felines. His foster home has 4 other cats, which is better, but he wants to be the center of attention. He would do okay with less cats around, but might do best on his own. He has some tolerance for child-like shenanigans.View Detail
