Ludo -3 yr old male French Bulldog
This is Ludo. He is a three year old, neutered and micro chipped male French Bulldog. Ludo weighs 20 pounds but has the personality of 100 pound dog. While I am heartbroken, I have no choice but to rehome my little guy. My father is elderly and has asked me to move into assist him and I am not able to bring Ludo with me. He does have a strong personality… His best friend is a great Dane who he bullies lol but he is the sweetest and cuddliest boy there is. He would be happiest Velcroed to his human and will lay on you or next to you constantly. He loves belly rubs and butt scratches and chasing tennis balls. He loves to drape himself over the arm of the chair and sleep and will fall asleep sitting up… Which is hysterically adorable. He would be best in a home with no small children as he is completely unfamiliar with them. I am not sure how he would do with a cat but he does well with other dogs after that initial introduction. He routinely plays with a group of five much larger dogs. The only downfalls Ludo has is that he hates having his nails trimmed. Groomers told me they have no problems but I cannot do it myself. He can also be slightly food aggressive even with humans. He has a very strong personality and will let you know what he wants and if he’s not happy. The other downfall with my little guy is that he is and has always been anti-cage. I purchased him from a coworker and he showed this anger even at a few weeks old - we call it “cangry” (cage angry). The issue with his cage aversion is that frenchies cannot be stressed… They have very narrow nasal passages and can even have eye issues due to the pressure caused if they get stressed. Therefore Ludo has never been caged since I got him at eight weeks. He is a very good boy and I am devastated to have to let him go. I am hoping somewhere out there is someone who wants a little friend to take with them everywhere and cuddle him every night. Best. Cuddles. Ever. It it’s very important to me that he finds the right owner and I would prefer to come to your home to let you meet him and if interested I would like to spend an hour or so showing you and telling you his signals and quirks... like when he gently paws at you at night he just wants you to lift the cover so he can go under and cuddle. I will be sending all of his food bowls, leash and harness as well as his winter coats.View Detail
