Boss is being sold as a project as he is not yet backed. All ground work has been done, and has been slowly produced never been pushed and always been left on a good note.
100% to clip, box, farrier, groom, bath.
his been lunged and he lunges perfectly walk trot canter both reins he goes up and down each gait instantly on voice command. I don't use a whip while lunging because he doesn't need it.
His been long reined he took this in his stride and needed a lot of reassurance but after the second go he got the hang of it.
He has been sat on numerous times bareback and full tacked. But only been sat on at stand still, we haven't walked with him! As any youngster would be he questioned what you was doing up there and nibbled my foot but wasn't really fussed.
He walks Upto the mounting block and stands good as gold to be lent over.
We've done a lot of join up in the school and his attention is always on you.
He has ground manners to die for can be left tied up for hours on end and he won't even move a step.
Good to be groomed and good with all 4 feet. Doesn't particularly like his ears being groomed so this has to be done little and often- I have the trouble of I can't reach.
I tack up in his stable only for convenience on the yard. When tacking up his perfect with his saddle girth and stirrups. Good with the reins going over his head, but can be abit head shy with the bridle so I take it apart put it over his ears and put the bit in from the side and attach at the other side which he seems to be fine with! I have the little person big horse issue where I can't reach properly. So with work on this he will 100% improve very quickly.
Boss is a very quick learner! He currently lives out with my mare his happy when alone and in company and his happy in a stable.
He can be very wary of new people but once you've given him a scratch or a carrot your his best friend. If his ever nervous or spooked at anything he comes to you for reassurance.
I've lead him out on walks around the woods and up the roads and he wasn't even looking about just head down walking behind.
He has lovely movement, very light floaty paces.
I feel he would excel in any sphere and has the potential to go very far!
Very very sad sale, all homes will be vetted as he won't just be going to anybody. I want a 5* long term home! His not a quick turn around money maker I want him to be someone's baby!
His only for sale as I can't continue his education any further due to time and no help.
