German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees Puppies
We have a beautiful litter of Shepnees (German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees) available for sale and looking to join their forever homes in early/mid January. Located in Todd (near Boone) in the Blueridge mountains, these sweet pups will be started around chickens as well as children. They are a cross between our full-blood, AKC registered, German Shepherd female and a full-blood Great Pyrenees sire (parents pictured). They will be gentle giants, great protectors of kids, livestock, property, and home. They do well in cold climates, as they have thick fur. Very family friendly dogs, loyal and protective. Pictures included are of our last litter of puppies from the same parents. Photos of this litter are at the bottom, after pictures of the parents. These dogs have great protective instincts from both parents, and can be trained to guard a family and property, home, children, etc. They will grow up to be anywhere between 80-160 lbs, so very large dogs but also super sweet and gentle. Their mother is a great deterrent to predators for our flock of free-range chickens. They will need lots of space and would not do well confined in a small apartment. Room to roam and a sturdy fence are important.
In this litter we have 10 puppies total. Nine males and one sweet female. Four all-white males, five brown/black/tan males, and one brown/black/tan female. They were born on 11/20/21, and will be ready to go to homes anytime on or after January 8th (We could arrange for them to go a few days early for Christmas morning if needed, but it would be best for them to stay with Mom until January 8th or after.)
