Golden retriever puppies
We have a beautiful litter of deep dark red golden retriever puppies. Our puppies are raised in our home and are given constant attention and care. We make sure each puppy is fed every 3 hours for the first three weeks of their lives. The 3-4 week time frame we feed them every 4-5 hours. Then at 4 weeks old they are place with mama Spring in their big birthing box. Spring is constantly near her babies. We give her time to rest and recuperate after her babies are born so we supervise and help her with the feeding of her puppies. Also to make sure none of the puppies are accidentally laid on. Beginning around the 4-5 week old time frame the puppies are also introduced to puppy mush. We had feed each baby about 2-3 tablespoons of puppy mush 3-4 times a day. That\'s a rough guesstimate, sometimes they eat more sometimes less. It all depends how much they nurse from spring. We also give them their first round of dewormer during this time frame. By 5 weeks old the puppies are usually eating and drinking water on their own. They will also continue to nurse with Spring. Then at 6 weeks old we have our big outting...we all head to the vet! We take the babies on their first car ride an hour to our vet of 25 years. It is an adventure for us all! There the puppies will receive their puppy checkups. The will each be weighed. They also have an extensive checkups of their teeth, heart, lungs, belly\'s, eyes, ears and personal areas. Basically a head to tail checkup. They will then receive their first series of puppy shots. We also give them their next round of dewormer too. After they all receive their shots we can now begin housebreaking. Puppies are not allowed outside until they have their first series of shots, very important. From 6-8 weeks old we constantly work on their housebreaking. They also enjoy all the outside playtime with spring. We also set up their puppy pool so they can begin getting used to water. It\'s unbelievably fun watching and playing with all the puppies. By the week of June 18th the puppies can begin going to their new homes. We take get pride in our puppies. The care we provide them is an outstanding foundation for them. Our litter from last year was outstanding! We had puppies from that litter go on to be amazing family dogs, a few became therapy companions and we also had a few go on with hunting training only to become amazing bird dogs. We couldn\'t be prouder. Now a little more about the puppies parents.... Our girl Spring, she is our shinning star and the heart of our family!! Spring is AKC and 85lbs. She is a beautiful dark red color with a beautiful fluffy coat. Spring is incredibly smart, sweet and loving! She loves everyone she meets! As big as she is she still is a lap dog. Spring is the best mama to her babies. Such a nurturing teacher. Spring also comes from an amazing hunting line. Obi-Wan is the stud we used with Spring. For our litter last year we used Finn. Finn is Obi-Wan\'s father. Unfortunately when we contacted Finn\'s owners to use him again with spring, we were informed that Finn had passed away due to a car accident. We were then offered Obi-Wan as a stud for spring. We were more than happy to have Obi-Wan be the proud papa to springs litter. We were happy to keep Finn\'s line going. Obi-Wan is one handsome boy. He is AKC and 75lbs. Obi-Wan has had health clearances with embark done. Obi-Wan is so sweet and smart. He has a beautiful deep dark red coat. I haven\'t seen a deeper red coat like his in a long time. The combination of spring and Obi-Wan has produced some gorgeous amazing babies. Their gentle smart natures is astounding. You would not be disappointed with these babies. We are currently taking deposits of $200 to secure a puppy. We only accept check or money order for the deposit or if you would like to deliver the deposit in person we are fine with that too. That way you can take a look at our babies and Spring. For the remaining balance, we accept cash at the time of pickup. We go in order in which we receive deposits for the pick of puppies. We welcome potential families to visit us anytime with an appointment. We don\'t allow anyone to touch the puppies except our immediate family until the puppies have had their shots but you are welcome to watch them. They are so fun to watch. We welcome any questions. I do send out weekly videos and pictures so everyone can watch the babies grow and thrive. I have also put pictures of Spring and Finn\'s litter from last year so you can see how beautiful the puppies turned out. We have wonderful references available too.
